Coach Recap- KSC FALL INVITATIONAL

The KSC Fall Invitational was held November 22-24th at MNP on a very cold and snowy weekend in Calgary. As always, this meet served as a great way for our coaches and swimmers to bond and have fun together! Additionally, this was a great opportunity for our coaches to see how our athletes compete under a touch workload. Our swimmers were in a high mileage building phase leading into this meet and we are extremely proud of how well they all performed. We had 28 swimmers attend and a total of 119 best times over the course of the weekend. We also had 100% personal best times from all our swimmers in the 400m freestyle event.

Qualifiers

• Jordan C earned his Provincial Trials time standard in the SC 100 Back.

• Sasha C earned her Provincial Championships time standard in the SC 100 Breast.

• Isabelle C earned her Provincial Trials time standard in the SC 400 Free and 400 Medley.

Highlights

A special shout out to Sasha C who is our first Sea Lions swimmer to qualify for this years Alberta Provincial Championships held in Edmonton this coming March. We also celebrated Junior Swimmer Ben’s birthday on deck. We are proud of all Sea Lions swimmers! It was a long weekend but they all kept extremely positive attitudes throughout the duration!
