Coach recap: WINTER PHOTOS 2024

WINTER PHOTOS:

The Okotoks Maverick Swim Club hosted a fantastic meet on December 7th. Our Age Group Development, Fundamentals, and Fundations groups attended this meet. It was a well-organized event and we were very impressed with space being allocated for each club and the hospitality for the coaches.

We are incredibly proud of our young Sea Lions this past weekend both in and out of the water. Their behavior on pool deck and spirit as a team is always such a pleasure to watch. It is so fun to see them all cheering for each other and growing as a team throughout the season.

We had 20 swimmers compete and a total of 49 best times. We are even more impressed with the number of personal fears conquered and first time trying a new skill. These ranged from a first flip turn in a race to the first time diving off the blocks.

We are looking forward to some Holiday fun and watching them all thrive in the new year.
